What Got To Dance & Big Brother's Davina had to say about STATUS

I loved their routine; it had so much energy. The atmosphere in the studio was electric. Their look - an Alice In Wonderland theme - was sensational. It was really well thought out. They just got it right on the night. All three judges gave them their stamp of approval too.
Status are the 2009/2010 UK Street Dance Champions, winning the Street Dance Weekend championships that Diversity previously won. Not just a group of dancers, Status are a family of close friends. They don't just know how to street dance either - they're also trained in tap, jazz, modern, ballet, disco, and street jazz! Status is Ryan (18), Mark (20), Oliver (19), Yolanda (18), Jemma (20), Bahar (17), Jevan (15), Vanessa (20), Sabrina (19), Sophia (18), Tunde (18) and Tox (20). Ryan is the leader of Status and is their main choreographer. Ryan is known for being a strict teacher. If you miss a rehearsal for Status you don't dance in that routine! Status say they all feed off each others imaginations to add to their routines. They impressed the judges in the auditions of Sky's Got To Dance and justified Ashley's from Diversity, faith in finding some exceptional dancers in London. Kimberly Wyatt told the group they were "flawless" and Adam Garcia told them they had the "creativity...to win this competition". The Got to Dance live semi final brought Status back before the judges and they brought all the moves. With a fantastic Alice in Wonderland routine, complete with Alice, Mad Hatter and Doormouse!

You're involved in the new 3D Street Dance Movie, tell us about that.
We took part in a club scene as 'extras' and then were chosen to be one of the groups (5 chosen in total) in the movie competition filming!  We got to perform to our own music and choreography as part of the movie storyline so it will feature in the movie.
What was it like working with Britain's Got Talent stars Flawless and George Sampson?
Flawless are awesome - we didn't really get to meet George Sampson.  The set is busy and full of dancers and it's a long day full day of takes.
